Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group reaffirms its commitment to the community and the healthcare sector, well aware of the vital and essential role of technology in improving the efficiency of facilities and medical activities.
We are now more aware than ever that increasing the efficiency of the healthcare system and the quality of its services is of crucial importance for the present and future of communities.
The Iris Ceramica Group Foundation, in accordance with its statute and as a natural tendency of its promoters, has been focusing on these issues since its founding, playing an active role in their improvement.
Following the successful construction of the hybrid room at the Civil Hospital of Baggiovara (MO), the Foundation has begun working alongside the Vittorio Lodini Association, making a donation to support video-assisted surgery with 4K/ICG standards.
The Vittorio Lodini Association, founded with the aim of keeping alive the innovative spirit of Dr. Vittorio Lodini – general and thoracic surgeon at the Arcispedale S. Maria Nuova in Reggio Emilia – promotes scientific research and dissemination in the field of surgery, encouraging the spread of technologies and supporting the scientific production of professionals.
This year, the Association launched an augmented reality project aimed at improving video-assisted surgery through the acquisition of a 3D laparoscopic and thoracoscopic video column equipped with state-of-the-art HD technologies, 3D for spatial visualization and 4K for increased resolution and colors, thus allowing for increasingly precise, less invasive surgery.
More effective surgery, optimization of resources and fewer post-surgery complications. The Iris Ceramica Group Foundation is committed to pursuing these ambitious goals, which can now be achieved through research and technology.
