The Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group has renewed its support to Save The Children to build a future, focusing on children’s rights.
Also in 2021, the Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group continues to support Save The Children and its campaign “Riscriviamo il Futuro” (“Rewrite the Future”). This project promotes and develops a wide range of initiatives aiming to protect the right to education and socialisation, bridging the gap caused by the severe social inequalities that risk compromising the future of the new generations, targeting 130,000 children and adolescents and their families across the national territory.
The Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group is concretely committed to supporting Organisations and Associations working in social, scientific and environmental fields, guaranteeing a future for the weaker segments of society. This is why it has chosen to renew its support to the work of Save the Children, sharing its values and purposes to protect and safeguard children’s rights, opening 26 “Punti Luce” (“Light centres”) across the country providing services to support the “Riscriviamo il Futuro” campaign. The Punti Luce network offers children and adolescents between the age of 6 and 17 the chance to take part in free training and education activities, including tutoring, art and music workshops, games and motor activities. The centres also offer parenting support as well as legal, psychological and paediatric consulting. In this way, the Foundation aims to contribute to the fight against inequality, guaranteeing children a brighter future.
Save the Children is the largest independent international organisation which, since 1919, has been working to effectively improve the lives of millions of children, giving them a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. As an NGO, it works to guarantee health and non-discriminatory, fair, inclusive and high-quality education, developing projects that offer the care needed for mothers and children and protecting them from exploitation and abuse.
