After the success with ANFFAS, the Quarto Fuoco project also comes to the Save the Children “ Punto Luce” in Quarto Oggiaro, Milan.
Following the success achieved with ANFFAS Sassuolo, Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group extends the boundaries of the Quarto Fuoco project to the Save the Children Punto Luce at the Spazio Agorà, the multi-purpose social centre for children aged 6 to 18 in the Quarto Oggiaro district of Milan, managed by Ripari Cooperativa Sociale – Impresa Sociale.
Since 2022, the Quarto Fuoco project has been promoting the autonomy and creative skills of its participants, helping to create significant bonds in the community. Through the art of ceramic decoration, the aim was to create an inclusive setting enhancing the potential of every individual, helping to define a life project that best reflects the needs and hopes of all the participants.
Also in this case, our Foundation supports the Save the Children’s Punto Luce in Milano Quarto Oggiaro with the necessary logistic support and material for the ceramic decoration workshops. The initiative also counts of the precious support of expert volunteers from the Group’s companies, who share their experience by teaching the art of ceramic decoration.
In this context, the project educators paid great importance to the pre-workshop phase, carefully explaining the values of the project to the young people involved and guiding them in the preparation of the drawings for the items they wanted to create with the ceramic materials.
Extending the boundaries of the Quarto Fuoco project demonstrates Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group's commitment to social development, continuing to foster inclusion, solidarity, creativity and autonomy and spreading a culture of ceramics as a means for building a fair, supportive community.
