PANGEA ONLUS JOINS THE QUARTO FUOCO PROJECT

The boundaries of the Quarto Fuoco project run by Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group continue to expand with the involvement of Fondazione Pangea Onlus, the association that has been working for years to support vulnerable women and children.

Known for its commitment to helping women who have suffered violence and discrimination, Pangea Onlus is an association that promotes the economic independence and social reintegration for women in situations of hardship. With Pangea, the Quarto Fuoco project increases its value, extending its range of action to include these women and their children, aiming to offer them an opportunity to learn, express their own creativity and build significant ties.

Within the framework of this project, Pangea Onlus pays particular attention to the educational and therapeutic dimension, recognising the importance of art as a tool for personal growth and the promotion of social cohesion. The women and children involved learn to work together, sharing experiences and acquiring new skills that may also be useful for them in their professional careers.

Also in the case of Pangea, our Foundation provides the logistic support and materials required to run the workshops, with the help of ceramic expert volunteers from the Group’s companies who accompany the participants throughout the project.

Extending the Quarto Fuoco project with Pangea Onlus is a further step forward in Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group’s commitment to promoting the values of inclusion, solidarity and creativity, demonstrating how ceramics can be a key tool for contributing to a fairer and more ethical society.
