FONDAZIONE IRIS CERAMICA GROUP WITH SASSUOLO HOSPITAL AND CÀ MARTA FOR THE SUMMER SPORT AND HEALTH CAMP

Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group supports the project that, for the second year, enjoys the cooperation of Sassuolo Hospital and Cà Marta Sport & Fun, offering health workers’ children two weeks free attendance of the summer camp. On special project has been introduced, run by the Hospital’s Cardiology team, who will meet the children to talk about diet, health and correct life styles.

Between June and September, over 800 young people will be taking part in this initiative, accompanied by its educators. Starting from a fruit basket and a ‘trip’ to the vegetable garden, every month two alternative mornings will be spent at the summer camp, enhancing the already wide range of sporting activities and promoting a targeted, engaging educational journey into health. The aim is to associate sport and health, giving the children taking part in the summer camp the opportunity to meet doctors and a nutritionist, spending a few hours of fun with them learning something more about what it means to have a correct life style.
