The 3rd National Meeting and a special event dedicated to the training of Nordic Walking instructors on the benefits for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group supported the organization of the 3rd National Meeting of ANWI (Associazione Nordic Walking Italia), which this March also celebrated the Association’s twentieth anniversary. Over the three-day event, conferences, workshops, practical training sessions for instructors, and guided walks for the public were organized to introduce people to this discipline, allowing them to experience its benefits with the support of qualified professionals.
In May, again with the Foundation’s support, ANWI, in collaboration with the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the University of Verona and the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association (AISM), organized the conference “Multiple Sclerosis – The State of the Art in Italy.” During the event, in addition to numerous academic presentations focusing on a comprehensive approach to patients affected by this serious condition, a study was presented highlighting the benefits of Nordic Walking for people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group has always believed in the value of education and the inclusive potential of sports. This ANWI project reaffirms the importance of Nordic Walking, a discipline increasingly recognized as a tool for inclusion, well-being, and improving the quality of life for many people.
