From 23 to 25 May, during the Sustainable Development Festival, Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group will be in Modena talking about our commitment to the UN Agenda 2030 SDGs.
From 23 to 25 May, Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group will be taking part in the fifth edition of the Sustainable Development Festival in Modena: The ASviS event includes a series of conferences aiming to raise awareness among and mobilise local people, the young generations, businesses, associations and institutions on economic, social and environmental sustainability issues. Furthermore, from 19 to 26 May an experiential "Sustainability Maze" will be set up in Piazza Grande.
The initiative, organised by the RSI (Corporate Social Responsibility) Association with the patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipality of Modena, revolves around the claim “Accendiamo il Futuro” – “Switching on the Future” - and aims to spread the culture of sustainability, triggering a cultural and political change to allow our country to implement the United Nations Agenda 2030 and meet the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the three days of the event, our Foundation will be part of the “Labirinto della Sostenibilità” (“Sustainability Maze”), talking about our contribution to SDG 8 of the UN Agenda 2030: "Decent work and economic growth ", highlighting our Group’s commitment to encouraging lasting, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
In addition, on 25 May we will be taking part in a conference of Climate Change, talking about the good practices adopted by Iris Ceramica Group to build a better and more sustainable present and future together.
