Registration for the Next Landmark 2021 international online contest opens on May 3. Promoted by Floornature.com with the support of Iris Ceramica Group Foundation, the contest is now in its tenth year.
The title chosen for 2021 is ‘Functional mixed-use: new links between inclusive, sustainable buildings and urban spaces’, a design approach aimed at creating buildings and urban spaces which foster and encourage the interconnection between public, social, private and working life, while respecting the individual and nature.
The contest is aimed at young creative designers from architecture and design disciplines who graduated from 2010 to the present day. One project will be selected from each of the following categories: Landmark of the Year Award and Research Award.
Entries must be received by May 30, 2021. The winners, selected by a panel of technical experts, will be announced by June 30, 2021, with the prize being a 3-day, 2-night trip to Venice during the Architecture Biennale 2021.
