FONDAZIONE SUPPORTS “MOTORI FENOMENALI” EXHIBITION

Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group supported “Motori Fenomenali – Car racing in Modena from 1920 to 1970, in the paintings of Alessandro Rasponi”, an exhibition organized by Momenti Events in collaboration with the Fondazione Collegio San Carlo. A project that successfully combined art, historical memory, and a passion for motorsports, receiving remarkable acclaim from both the public and the media.

In just 22 days, the exhibition—hosted in the evocative Chiesa di San Carlo—was visited by 10.034 people, a clear testament to the strong bond between the city of Modena and its glorious motoring heritage. The event was inaugurated on June 4 during the Motor Valley Fest, in the presence of local and regional authorities, as well as representatives from the art world, sports, and the automotive industry.

The exhibition aimed to enhance Modena’s cultural heritage by offering the public an emotionally engaging narrative of the great races that defined an era, told through Alessandro Rasponi’s paintings, ceramic car models crafted by students from the Venturi Institute, and a selection of historical archival materials.

Long committed to promoting culture and local identity, Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group reaffirms—through its support of this initiative—its dedication to projects that highlight the value of history and art as essential tools for collective growth.
