FONDAZIONE IRIS CERAMICA GROUP WITH ENNESIMO ACADEMY

Also in 2024, Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group is the Main Sponsor of Ennesimo Academy, the educational project of Ennesimo Film Festivalthat aims to provide fair, inclusive and quality education through the art of cinema. 

This year, the project involved around 3000 students and teachers from 17 different preschools, primary and middle schools in the municipalities of Fiorano Modenese, Sassuolo, Formigine, Maranello, Scandiano and Modena. 

  The project helped the students to think about education to image, and the importance that photographs and videos hold in contemporary society, in order to critically and collectively analyse them. The course workshops led to the production of 21 short films produced by the students, assisted by sector professionals who oversaw all the production aspects: from the script writing to post-production. 

An overview of the courses held during the year was presented at the Ennesimo Film Festival held from 28 April to 5 May at the Astoria Theatre in Fiorano Modenese. The students were the real stars of this event: panels, showing of films from around the world (over 2,000 films were received for the selection from all 5 continents), workshops for younger children in the toy library, the inauguration of an exhibition at Fiorano library with all the graphic works produced during the school year, and the showing of the films produced by the students and masterclasses.
