The Foundation supports the education to image project of the Ennesimo Film Festival, which this year will involve 5,500 students from 235 classes.
For the second year running,Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group is the Main Sponsor of Ennesimo Academy, the educational project of Ennesimo Film Festival that aims to provide fair, inclusive and quality education through the cinematographic art.
Ennesimo Academy offers students the opportunity
for growth through the “learning by doing” method, which enhances the
expressiveness and creativity of everyone. The Academy trainers help students to become aware citizens who
understand the dynamics of today’s communication mechanisms. This year, the
project will involve 18 municipalities
in the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a total of 235
classes, 5,500 students and over 1000 teachers.
But the Foundation's commitment doesn’t stop here. One of the main events of the project will take place in Fiorano Modenese, in the Iris Ceramica Group Showroom. Here, the students from second-year middle school classes will spend a morning discovering 360° films visible using VR visors: a training opportunity to find out how the films of the future are made, edited and produced. The day will also be an opportunity to find out more about the history of the Ceramics District and the Group, visiting the Iris Ceramica Group Historical Museum.
