FEMALE ARCHITECTURE: ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS OF THE SECOND EDITION OF THE ANNA TADDEI PRIZE

The final event of the second edition of the Anna Taddei Award, for which Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group is Main Sponsor, was held on 10 November. During the event, the finalists illustrated their projects and the Panel announced the names of the three winners.

This Prize, created and promoted by the Architects’ Association P.P.C. of the province of Modena and the Architects’ Foundation in Modena, was set up in memory of the architect Anna Taddei, and her outstanding commitment to fostering debate and incentivising quality in the profession, fighting to assert the position of women in work and society.

10 years following the architect’s death, the board of the Architects’ Association P.P.C. of the province of Modena launched the second edition of the Award on 8 March last, International Women’s Day. The prize targets women working in the architecture world; this edition was devoted to works produced in the field of Interior design and Industrial design.

For the Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group, supporting the Anna Taddei Award  was a great opportunity for enhancing deserving projects focusing on female architecture and culture, authentic cornerstones of an increasingly fair and inclusive society.
