Historical Museum
A multi-stage exhibition path that tells the story of the technical evolution of the Italian ceramic district through the Group’s materials; a sincere tribute to all the people who are and have been part of this long history and its success.
THE STORY OF A SUCCESS
When the Group’s story began in 1961 with its first company, Iris Ceramica, it was immediately clear that innovation would define its entire entrepreneurial journey.
Today, this story is told through the Museo Storico Iris Ceramica Group: a permanent exhibition of materials, photographs, special productions, catalogs, and publications, arranged in a chronological path spanning nearly six decades.
This space, inaugurated in 2019 at the headquarters in Fiorano Modenese and designed to evolve and grow over time, tells the story of the evolution of the Italian ceramic district—not only from a product perspective, but also through the communication activities that made the Group known and contributed to its success.
The Museum is part of Museimpresa, the Italian association of corporate museums and archives, which promotes the preservation and enhancement of documents, visual materials, products, and machinery, leaving a tangible testimony of the history of Made in Italy and its key players.
It is also a sincere tribute to all those who have been part of this long history, contributing at every level to perpetuating the values and innovative drive that have characterized the Group since its beginnings.
Every object, every patent, every document represents concrete evidence of a journey always oriented toward the future, with the proud awareness of having created a past worthy of being openly displayed and told.
The Museum can also be visited virtually on Google Arts & Culture, with various thematic paths reflecting the Group’s values and countless nuances—from materials to communication activities, to the evolution of image and culture.
