A project centred around a simple, everyday yet essential gesture, dedicated to people in need in the city of Modena.<\/p><p>Since\u00a0<strong>1978, Porta Aperta<\/strong>\u00a0has been working daily to overcome poverty and promote social inclusion, inspired by the values of hospitality and solidarity. The association fosters reintegration pathways in collaboration with local services, engages the Modena community in shared support initiatives, and\u00a0<strong>advocates<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>for a more just and inclusive society<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Thanks also to the aid of the Foundation, around\u00a0<strong>5,000 showers<\/strong>\u00a0were provided to approximately\u00a0<strong>120 people<\/strong>\u00a0who, during the warmest months, found in Porta Aperta a welcoming place to refresh, connect and start anew. This practical, simple but vital assistance made it possible to respond with dignity and compassion to the rising demand over the summer. A first step towards developing new relationships and embarking on a path out of marginalisation, thanks to the listening, guidance and help provided by experts and volunteers.<\/p><p>By supporting this project,\u00a0<strong>Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group<\/strong>\u00a0reaffirms its partnership with\u00a0<strong>Porta Aperta<\/strong>\u00a0and to all the people that the association welcomes and assists every day.
