TRC SHOWCASES QUARTO FUOCO®: WHEN CERAMICS BECOME A TOOL FOR SOCIAL INCLUSION
TRC recently featured Quarto Fuoco®, the project by Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group that transforms the art of ceramic decoration into a tool for inclusion, personal growth, and empowerment for vulnerable individuals.
The segment, aired as part of the program “Primo Piano”, highlights the human and social impact of an initiative that combines creativity, training, and local engagement, involving associations and people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The project takes its name from the “third firing” (terzo fuoco), a traditional ceramic decorating technique used to enhance artistic ceramics. Today, Quarto Fuoco® adds a new layer of meaning by placing people and their ability to express themselves through art at its core.
Through community-focused ceramic decoration workshops, the project promotes social inclusion and personal autonomy, creating meaningful opportunities for participation, skill development, and the recognition of individual talents.
