Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group renews its support to the Lodini Association which, along with Grade Onlus from Reggio Emilia, has raised funds to donate an ECMO machine to Santa Maria Nuova Hospital.

In a nutshell, ECMO is a very important extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and circulation pump, used for multi-organ explants on heart-failure patients. The positive impact of this technology includes shorter waiting lists and an increase in organ donations, which thanks to this technology have increased by 20% in recent years.

Renewing its support to the Lodini Association, Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group has once again contributed to the technological equipment available to the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital, the main hospital pole in the province of Reggio Emilia, consequently improving patient care and services.
