Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group renewed its commitment to scientific research by supporting the contest“A Scuola con il Pomodoro per la Ricerca”, promoted by Fondazione Umberto Veronesi.This initiative is both concrete and symbolic, designed to fund scientific research on pediatric cancer.

The contest involved schools directly, inviting them to take part in an active citizenship initiative. Each school could activate a “digital stand” on Fondazione Veronesi’s Insieme platform, launching a real fundraising campaign within their school community. At the end of the project, the schools that collected the highest number of donations were awarded vouchers for purchasing school supplies.

Among the most active participants, the Istituto Comprensivo di Castellarano (Reggio Emilia) stood out with above-average engagement. In particular, the Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado di Castellarano distinguished itself through the enthusiasm and dedication shown by students and families alike, engaging in an educational journey that raised awareness about the value of scientific research and the importance of healthy eating.
