Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group, which has been supporting the activities of Save the Children Italia since 2019, is now supporting the international charity for its humanitarian mission for the emergency in Syria and Turkey, countries it has been working in respectively since 2012 and 2014.
After the earthquake that devastated some areas of these countries, the local partners of Save The Children responded immediately to the emergency, supplying tents, blankets, mattresses, nappies, sanitary products, stoves, firewood and warm clothing. Furthermore, the operators are working to keep children and their families healthy and protected from diseases and other conditions, supplying drinking water and essential hygiene items. The second phase will adapt the response with medium-long term initiatives to support the recovery, with a special focus on health, nutrition and children’s education.

With its support to Save The Children, the Foundation confirms our commitment to social and solidarity projects, together building a better future that focuses on the rights of children.
