Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group supports ActionAid’s Youth for Love 2, the educational project aiming to prevent, detect and address peer violence among adolescents in 4 European countries (Italy, Belgium, Greece and Romania), involving not only young people but also families, education professionals and local communities.

ActionAid is one of the world’s major NGOs, and works in 45 countries. Every year it supports over 27 million people worldwide, guaranteeing them a full, dignified and fair life, and respecting their rights. The Youth For Love 2 project helps adolescents and the educational community to prevent and address peer violence using teaching methods and educational activities including:

– School assessment

– Educational programme supporting adolescents

– Training courses for families and teaching staff

– Community lab to engage the whole local community

In addition, it has developed new educational tools including a webgame, a powerful tool for fostering learning and critical thought, as well as a place for experimenting real everyday situations which could turn into potential episodes of violence and bullying: it all depends on the player’s choices.

The support for the ActionAid educational project once again demonstrates the concrete commitment of our Foundation to a better future, by fostering initiatives that promote a reality marked by solidarity and inclusion.
